The Coast to Coast gallery operates online in order to promote the paintings and photographs of artist Jen Larkin. We feature an exciting and ever growing range of work by Jen, who is based in the beautiful Cornish countryside. Walking is pure inspiration to her, painting a vision of atmospheric light effects across ever changing vistas. Rich colours convey her

passion inspired by many hours spent walking through and observing topographies amidst the elements. The skies too, are an integral part of her work - the clouds roll and stretch over hills or coastline, creating a powerful style saturated in colour and mood.

Over the past few years, Jen has travelled across landscapes near and far, including the South West Coast Path, the Saint's Way, the Isles of Scilly, the Outer Hebrides and Snowdonia. Embarking upon a personal and artistic challenge, she has recently completed a 190-mile ‘Coast to Coast' walk - from St Bees to Robin Hood's Bay - producing a stunning series of paintings upon her return. Jen continues to walk as a working process, gathering information towards a growing body of work - soon to come a further series of paintings based upon linear journeys, including the South West Coast Path and the West Highland Way.
